I'm a freelance 2D designer who is proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Premiere Pro—plus I'm adding a little more After Effects every day.
I took a nontraditional route to design: just sort of being the guy in the office who is creative and makes all the reports and slide decks and then decided to make a mid-career change. I've worked as an educator, a researcher, and a grantmaker and I bring these various experiences together into my approach to design.
I received an MFA in Creative Writing, Fiction, from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and a BA in English from the University of Georgia. I'm originally from Georgia, but now call Indianapolis home with my wife and kid.
